Emergency on the Markotkh ridge

Emergency on the Markotkh ridge
Four guys from the Republic of Belarus decided to admire Gelendzhik from the Markotkh ridge.
After enjoying the views of the resort, the guys decided to go back. At this time, it began to get dark. One of the guys stumbled near the cliff and started to fall.

During the fall, the guy saved himself as best he could: he clung to the grass and stone ledges with his hands. The foot stuck between the rocks stopped the fall and possible serious consequences. His companions lost no time in calling the emergency services.

Two teams of rescuers left immediately. The first to arrive at the scene were employees of Kuban-SPAS, and a few minutes later a team of the Emergency rescue service of Gelendzhik was there. Eight rescuers in total darkness, using special lighting, searched for the victim.

When falling, the young man received many bruises, hit his head several times, and broke his hip bone. Rescuers carefully freed the victim's leg from the stone captivity and gave him first aid: they put a mobile tire on the injury site and transferred him to a stretcher.

For an hour, rescuers carefully descended from the mountain, transporting the victim. An ambulance was waiting below. The patient was taken to the Department of traumatology of the city hospital of Gelendzhik, where he is still.
